GIVEAWAY inside! Switching to a more green, sustainable lifestyle can be easier than you think. It can be intimidating, but the best place to start is at square one. In this week’s post, I’m literally giving you the tools to make that leap.
After one month of married life, I’m reflecting on our special day. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. It was really important to us to find cost-saving measures and ways to make it more eco-friendly. This week, I’m sharing all of the ways I did this!
Essential oils have become a big part of my routine for reducing chemical use in my home and for my destressing routine. When Midwest Essentials reached out wanting to collab, I jumped at the opportunity to learn more about how I could take my use of essential oils to the next level! I went to such a fun event they hosted, Rollers and Rosé, where I learned A TON and had a great time!
Does anyone else struggle with smelly shoes in the summer? This is a problem I deal with year over year. Luckily, I’ve found an amazing product (for just $10) that has eliminated gross shoes for good! Check it out in this week’s post.
When I was doing some research on the dishwasher soap that I was using in my home, I found out that it had some ingredients that were less than ideal. I set out to do better, and ended up making my own all-natural dishwasher soap. With four ingredients and five minutes, I came out with a product that was even better than what I was using before.
I’ve been working hard over the past year to remove plastic and chemicals from my home. My three-ingredient Swiffer Wet Jet refill hack is not only the inexpensive option, but all-natural, and a way to remove more plastic from landfills. Check it out!
I buy far too much clothing. It’s been a huge drain on my wallet, and it’s not the best for the planet. To combat these issues, I’m going the entire month without buying any new clothes. No shoes, no dresses, no handbags, nothing. Join me on this journey in this intro post.
Every year, we’re filling landfills with insane amounts of unnecessary plastic. Disposable razors are a huge contributor to this problem. To add insult to injury, if you’re female, you’re also probably paying way too much for your razors (especially when you compare prices with the men’s aisle). Cue the double edge safety razor: an eco-friendly solution that also eliminates the pink tax on this everyday product. See why I love it in this week’s post.
In my journey to sustainability, I'm making a series of changes that reduce my carbon footprint little by little. Learn why switching to bar soap is an easy, affordable, green tip worth implementing, and find my recommendations for the best ones.
